POSTPONED - Building a Creation Care Team

St. Raphaela Center, in support of EcoPhilly and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia regarding Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si,’ On Care For Our Common Home, will be hosting a series of monthly sessions with the goal to enable participants to:

• Create and build your own Creation Care Team & Projects in your parish, school, group;
• That create caring environments based on a contemplative Christian
  spirit; and actions aimed at the common good of all creation. 

As part of this series, participants will learn to build a Creation Care Team that produces:

• Lifestyle changes in families and groups they are part of:
• “Soulmates” in global missions;
• A new spirit in community outreach efforts.

Saint Bonaventure’s book, The Soul’s Journey Into God, will be our guide for the monthly sessions. Handouts will be provided; purchase is optional.

Please join us for an Introduction Session, Saturday, Nov. 8, 9:30-11:30am (postponed from the original date of Oct. 11), at St. Raphaela Center, that will provide more detailed information about how the series will be structured and the different stages of contemplation and actions involved.
