It is a wonderful time of year for a SoulCollage® retreat. \nSoulCollage® is a simple\, creative method of self-awareness and inner discovery. You will be guided to make personal cards with images that touch your heart and spirit and to discover the meaning expressed in each card from deep within. Everyone who makes SoulCollage® cards is amazed at the deep and unexpected levels of insight and feelings that are revealed about your life. Whether you are new or experienced with SoulCollage®\, you will receive deep value from the process. You will be supported to create a small deck of cards throughout the weekend which will support your ongoing reflection after the retreat. \nThere will also be invitations with guidance for Nature Wanders and reflective journaling to expand your deep listening. We will sit each day in a Sacred Circle with an open invitation for sharing. You will also be invited to join an optional Listening Pod\, with a few other retreatants for sacred listening about each person’s life journey. Each of these activities is optional. A reverent silence is maintained throughout the Retreat Center at all times including during meals. Each retreatant meets with his/her director daily for approximately 45 minutes.  Each director possesses the necessary skills to guide their directees compassionately and peacefully\, allowing them to listen to God’s voice and to journey closely with their loving God\, both within the retreat setting and going forth into their daily lives. \nThe number\, nature and length of periods of formal prayer each day will depend upon the ability and needs of the individual and will be determined in conversation with the director. Retreatants are provided suggested scripture passages tailored to their own prayer. Ideally retreatants will have some experience in meditative prayer\, the desire to enter into prolonged silence\, and sufficient self-awareness to recognize their own inward movements. DESCRIPTION:Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer\, in which we experience God's presence within us\, closer than breathing\, closer than thinking\, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship. Centering Prayer is not meant to replace other kinds of prayer.
