Join Brother Mickey McGrath as he shares his own ART and STORIES celebrating Wise Saints and Talented Prophets of Beauty who inspire us to live in HOPE not despair, and in LOVE not fear.
Dorothy Day's life motto was "In the end beauty will save the world."
And St. Francis de Sales said, "We pray best before beauty." In these dark and unsettling times, we need to nurture our contemplative creative spirits so that we can each be forces of Peace and Gentleness.
You don't have to be an artist to enjoy this Art Centered Retreat!
In the morning: He will use his own art and stories with the help of famous artists and creative saints from Mary Magdalene to Therese of Lisieux.
In the afternoon: He will lead us through meditative art activities to enhance your prayer and help you find peace within.
Art materials will be provided or feel feel to bring your own.
Our retreat day will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Coffee, Danish and Lunch will be provided.
