Mary Breslin, Registrar

We are happy to welcome Mary Breslin to St. Raphaela Center as our Registrar.  Mary holds a BS and an MBA from La Salle University, and her spirituality and knowledge of the Handmaids complement her technical formation.  After spending a few years in Colorado and California, she, her husband and their children returned to Philadelphia, where their children continued their education at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy.  There, Mary was introduced to the Handmaids and served on Parents Council, coached lacrosse and field hockey, and chaired the Food Drive.  She became an ACJ Associate and, over the last 10 years, she has grown in her love of St. Raphaela and of the Handmaid charism, and has served on the Handmaids’ Advisory Board.  Generously giving to the community, she also serves as Ambassador and tour guide at the Cathedral, has been an involved parent at St. Joseph Prep, and continues as a member of the Pathways to College committee of Cristo Rey, Philadelphia.  Staff and retreatants are grateful for her skills, warmth, and genuine care so that they may come to experience God more deeply in their lives.

Lauren Kinslow-Finore, Program Designer (Ext: 21)

Lauren joyfully joined the staff at Saint Raphaela Center on August 1, 2018. Lauren's experience includes teaching religion in the classroom both in Pennsylvania and New York City at Sacred Heart Academy and The Convent of the Sacred Heart. She holds a B.A. from Saint Joseph's University, where she first experienced the peace of Saint Raphaela Center while on retreat. She earned her M.A. from Fordham University in Religion and Religious Education and after serving as a campus minister and teacher in Manhattan for seven years she moved home with her husband to begin a new adventure as a mother. Over the past three years, Lauren has served as a prep teacher, Youth Minister, and Director of Religious Education at Saint Mary Magdalen parish, as well as developed her own business "Holy Healthy" which combines her passion for health and bringing others to know God. She served local schools, parishes, individuals, and groups as a retreat director, certified yoga teacher and health coach. Lauren's prayer time with her Spiritual director led her to this new position as the part-time retreat designer for weekly day programs. She is excited to be able to spend time in her first ministry as a mother to her two boys and use her creative side bringing others to the loving heart of Christ.
